Hello from a prospective keeper
«

Hello....I am thinking about getting into beekeeping. I happened to pick up a book on bees at the library and I am completely fascinated by these insects. I have been reading every book I can get my hands on. My current plans are to go with a top bar hive. I am currently in the Philly area but I may be moving to the DC area in the spring.

Welcome to the forum r3tic, glad to have you with us. Be on the lookout for a local bee club you could join in with. We have a search function to help answer your questions. Just type in your subject and enjoy your reading.

Welcome, pull up a chair, strap on a goalie mask and a pair of boxing gloves. Things can get kinda heated here in the dead of winter.
