Anybody know how to make those honey sticks for the kids?

If you are talking about the straws, and not the baked honey sticks, here is what I do:
* Seal one end of plastic straw with a food sealer
* Fill the straw with honey using a syringe. Leave some open space at the top.
Now this is where the options come in.
I place them in a mug and put them on the kitchen table. They don't last long enough to worry about sealing them.
For travel, heat the top with a lighter or candle & pinch it shut. Another option is to fold the top over & tape it. Trying to seal the top in the food sealer has not worked out for me.
One thing I wanted to try but havent done yet is dipping the top in melted beeswax to plug it.

I have bought them in the past from some of the suppliers mostly for my own enjoyment because the kids just don't know what to do with them. Great for give aways but I just never could sell them. Great to get kids to try honey for the first time.
They make a machine to fill the straws, very expensive, very complicated. You can google the machine.
