American blood spilled to protect the freedom and peace of people all over the world.  320,000 USA casualties in WWI, 1,076,000 USA casualties in WWII, 128,000 USA casualties in the Korean War, 211,000 casualties in the Vietnam "conflict", 57,000 USA casualties in "War on Terror".  Benghazi, Libya, 13 USA casualties. These figures don't include 70,000 MIA.  But, the leaders of one political party of the United States of America continue to make the statement..."What difference does it make?".

"We can't expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism."..."The press is our chief ideological weapon." - Nikita Khrushchev

Hmmmmm….WHICH liberal to vote for?  Liberal on the left, or liberal on the right?

With liberal Romney we probably get more war and less US jobs while his buddies in China get more US jobs.  I think I would rather support capitalism here than communism in China.

BTW, I’m also left handed.  Figure I’m in good company  Smiley

And all they can say is thank you America for the bailout.

Who's left...your or theirs?

But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. If you know your automotive history, you will know that the Germans pretty much sucked the life out of Chrysler after they merged to form Daimler Chrysler in the late 1990s.  The Chrysler CEO made off with something like 100 million from the deal , the German CEO took over, and plenty of American workers got the axe.  Sounds kind of like how Romney made his millions, doesn’t it?  Yeah, we really need more of that “business” expertise don’t we……

After the Germans got everything they wanted out of Chrysler, they tried to sell what was left but nobody wanted Chrysler leftovers.   After some begging from the Germans, GM did show some interest and analyzed buying them, but even GM couldn’t figure out how to make money from it.  It looked dire for Chrysler.

But you know what they say, a sucker is born every minute.  So along comes Dannyboy Quayle and his hedge fund.  They bought Chrysler from the Germans for a few billions and thought they got the deal of the century!  They put the ex CEO of Home Depot, yes Home Depot, in charge of making cars.  As you might guess a guy who can’t spell potato and a guy whose expertise is selling hammers were ill equipped to run a complex business like an auto company.  Beeks know how the rest of the story turned out grin

Here let me finish the history of the Fiat of Car City for you.  It goes something like this.

Then the Community Organizer of Barrack comes riding into Car City on a horse with no name.  The Community Organizer of Barrack is from the City of Wind so his only expertise with the Auto Industry is boosting hubcaps, and ripping off radios.  The Royal Heralds draw a deep breath, toot their Ramcharger horns and with a stroke of his Royal goose quill pen, the Community Organizer of Barrack violates the rules of every Bankruptcy Court in the Kingdom.  He issues a Royal decree written on fine Corinthian Leather that rips Chrysler from O' Dannyboy of Quayle's grip and bestows the lands of said unlucky Thain to an upstart group of Italian and Russian joint venture capital mercenaries from the Italian City State of Fiat.

Of coerce Sir Barrack is so clueless that he can' understand why no one is fighting to claw their way to the top of the wall to reoccupy the Chrysler throne that the Reine Robber Barons abandoned because they saw the hand writing on the wall... I mean the Community Organizer of Barrack's graffiti on the wall proclaiming that from here on out, the rule of law is no more.  The Community Organizer of Barrack in effect said,"We don't need no stinking law Gringo, from here on out I am the stinking law in Car City."

Is that about it BB?   grin grin
