Got stung on the eye lid by a rouge terrorist bee. Stings don't usually bother me much but this one made me do the pee pee dance.

Well....
I used to have very bad Bursitis. I physically couldn't lift my arms above my chest. The only way i could take off a coat (alone) was to close a sleeve in a truck door. Then remove myself from the other side of the coat. Then one day a bee stung me and i had an intense & unique reaction (hospital & emergency shots). After which the Bursitis vanished for good.
Have been stung since with no reaction. I love those bees.
They're doing some sort of good....

I bought some hive in bad repair from and estate. When I pulled up there with the truck and trailer got out and started to put on my bee suit 2 got me on the top right eyelid and another got me on the upper lip. But got em loaded and home. It is getting to not make me swell so much. Good luck

Been there, a couple of years ago I had a hot hive that would come out and chase me back into the house every chance they got. Anyhow one day I decided to stand my ground and pull some weeds, that's when they got me.

.
About 40 years ago I moved hives to outer pastures.
One hive package went broken when I lifted it, and hundreds of bees were on me. I rushed to bushes and saw a waterpool in the forest.
I took sphagnum moss, watered it and put it on my head that bees stop stinging.
It was almost dark and looked that there is something in the pool.
Next day I arrived to arrange broken hive and I went to look what was in the pool. It was just born rotten calf of cow. It was dumped into pool.
Its skin was allready loosen.
...joys of beekeeping....
