To give a UK perspective, prices are around £5 to £6/lb, so equivalent to $8 to $9.50. However higher prices can be obtained in Farmers' markets and similar.
Locally produced honey is in huge demand, and many beekeepers are changing to 12 oz jars to make it go further; with a proportionally higher price

Thanks all for your replys , I am starting out at $6.00 for one lb. ( that may change ) being my first year and 108 lbs of honey.
