Hello all, just found this site today and wanted to say greetings. We reside in north orange county in southern California. Do not have any bees or hives yet but have been reading a whole lot. We were only able to obtain one book from a local library and the was storey's guide to raising bees. A good read for me. Have a few hens, new zealand whites for meat, numerous fruit trees and a lot of raised beds which is not bad for living right in the middle of the city. No bees yet but my boss ( the married kind) gives her blessings for me to get stung as much as I want.
that is about it for now
any body from southern california close to me? would like to have a close by mentor
