Storing frames of honey

How long can a person store a frame of honey in the freezer to add to a hive if needed later and do frost free freezers keep drawing moisture from them?

i tie mine up in a trash bag. then freeze.

Don't worry about your honey in the freezer.  10 years or 100.  It should all be good.  No different than honey from 2000 year old pyramids.   I do leave frames in the freezer from late summer to early spring.

Is it necessary to freeze the honey?  I keep mine sealed in an Igloo cooler (indoors) for weeks before extracting.  I only pull a couple of frames at a time and save them up for extraction.

Beetles and moths will mess up stored frames when their eggs hatch if the eggs are not killed first before the frames are placed into storage.

Okay, when you decide it's time to feed the honey to the bees, how long do you let it sit out before adding it to the hives? I'm pretty sure it would be a bonehead move to stick frozen combs in there with them!

I have put frozen frames right on top of the bees, but it was never cold out when I did it.   Frames warm up and dry off in a couple hours.

yes add frozen frames then you fill the hive with the water hose, its like ice tea in the summer and the bees love it!
