Bees almost went swimming!!

Caught in the flooding after Hurricane Issac my bees had the flood waters covering their entrance and had to raise them up almost 8 inches during the storm. Too busy saving them or I would otherwise would have taken pics. The girls could not get into the boxes and were getting testy with me but didn't take a sting in the process. The field had approx 20 inches water in it and was fortunate not to flood my home but 20 houses in my neighborhood did flood and hundreds more in the surrounding communities.
