removal gone wrong.

Opened a hive up this morning that was in a wall of a shop. It was about 4' wide 8' tall, three studs/sections. It was overcast and a little wet out and the bees were not to mad. ALOT of bees in this thing. All was going well, about halfway through, noticed a few bees fighting. I turn around and see the lid to the bucket of honey, and my cutting table covered in bees. After a few minutes, everything was covered in bees. Total robbing, I figure the queen is dead. Little did I know, and the homeowner did not mention that past the treeline on his property his neighbor had around 20 hives. I did what I could, the job is done, the comb was shredded. The robbers chewed open capped brood in the frenzy. Ill go back tomorrow and and look for a cluster somewhere I guess.
