Im in my first season of keeping bees and learning. Iv got a 4' tbh, I moved my over grown nuc into it on, 7/29. I thought things were well in my hive, ( thought ) ON 8/17 i opened my hive up and noticed 4 bars of comb had fallen to the floor of the hive, so i took my time and sewed the comb back to the bars. Im not sure how long I was in the hive for but it was open for a bit, the temp was in the mid 90's. How long is too long to keep my hive open and working in it?? Also, while i was in there they tried to swarm out, luckeley I managed to chase them down and recapture them. One more thing, why wasnt anything capped brood or honey???
