how did you lose the other hives?  what do your stores look like? how old is the queen?  they do go through periods where they back off laying.  this seems often to be related to the nutrition available to the hive.
.....The greatest changes occur in their country without their cooperation. They are not even aware of precisely what has taken place. They suspect it; they have heard of the event by chance. More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....

The first hive I lost, was I accidentally wacked the queen.... but they grew another..... two month later hive absconded.....

#2 was a very strong 2x5 frame nuc  ...... moved to a one 10 frame box..... two month ...gone  plenty o stores.....

back to #1  there seems to be brood but lots of drone bees..... which doesnt make sense to me...... good stores for this time of the year, lots of activity and with all the rain we have been having an early blooming for fall......
