Metairie Honey Bee Removal With Emil (Pictures)
« on: August 09, 2012, 12:43:13 PM »
Emil and I removed two colonies from a garage that was termite, bee and rat infested! The shed is being torn down soon. The bees were pretty resourceful and made a decent bit of very good tasting honey that had a touch of citrus to it.

Overall the bees were relatively gentle but we did take a half dozen stings or so each before a good may guard bees were vacuumed.

Great pics.  You may have caused that shed to come down sooner by removing the comb which was holding all those studs together.

Funny thing is, if they would have waited a few more years the shed would have begun to crumble and the bees likely would have absconded.
