Funny thing is that I went to sleep from the benadryl I took after the sting which I always do just in case of reaction and woke up to this. My wife freaked out and I just laughed

Yowser! Looks like you've been in a fight ...hope the other guy looks worse! My first sting as a beek came through the veil doing a cutout. Right on the nose! But the good part was pushing the veil away from the face (which I did in a microsecond) pulled the stinger out so the sting was very mild. Now I always try to wear a baseball cap under the veil to keep it off the face. Hope you got a nice new colony to supply you with honey for your troubles!

Took 4 stings yesterday making splits before calling it a day. Team bee seems to be winning.
+1 on the baseball cap.

Welcome to the club. Had one last year that I quit counting at fifteen. Four a day seems to be the magic number these days.

Aw You guys had it easy. I did a cutout about a month ago and went to take a break form bending over a cutout in floor joist and leaned against the wall and took one just to the left cheek. I had a heck of a time trying to set straight up for a week. every time I twinisd the wife fell over laughing. welcome to the stinger club the point of the spade club. john
