Location: Central CA, Sierra Nevada foothils

Greetings all. We are located in the Sierra Nevada foothills just south of Yosemite and are new to bee keeping. First hive picked up 3 weeks ago. I can see that there is much, much to learn but there also some very generous souls on this forum helping out the newbies; I've already pick up two or three gems. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum,Thornberry.  There are lots of threads and videos here that may help you, and if you have any questions just ask someone will usually answer it.  You can also see videos on you tube, and check into joining a local bee club.
