about a month ago i bought a nuc with 5 full frames of comb with bees.  i started feeding 1/1 about 3 weeks ago and added a deep top box of frames with foundation,  and yet the bees haven't started building the frames out as of yesterday.. upon inspection all looked well...full frame of brood i saw larvae and with my eyes could not see eggs...very difficult here to see with my eyes didn't see the queen though i didn't really go in looking for her...but the bees were meandering somewhat around the top section now...but still haven't started making comb in top box...again feeding each day around a quart of 1/1 sugar water...any ideas?

Pull a couple of drawn frames from the bottom box up to the to to lure the bees up. They often ignore the bare foundation in an added box and will become honey bound down below.

But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. Just my opinion, but I've had mine for about a month and stopped feeding them a week ago after they filled half a frame at the bottom with sugar water. Added a upper medium a couple weeks ago and they've been busy already capped brood. Be careful feeding or they may become honey bound quick if they're not moving up
