Hello! My name is Bob and I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I'm semi retired, but will be going back to work full time in the next 2 years or so. This is my 1st year as an Apiarist, but my brother who lives 1 hour North of me has been one for over 5 years. He gave me some frames with drawn comb to help the girls get started.

I'm using 2 deep 8 frame boxes for the brood chamber, and I will be adding a medium 8 frame box for a honey super, hopefully by the end of July, and possibly another later in the summer. I'm prepared for a small crop, but it would be nice to recoup some of the $$$ I've spent to get started.
