Rain...finally starting to get it on regular basis it's actually starting to look like Florida...oh wait, I am in Florida! With the past couple of months the rain totals are finally starting to mount. This past spring it was DRY and the drought we've been having for the past couple of years looks to be finally breaking. Still, with all this being said, we're still on water restrictions. It's rained just about every afternoon this week and we've finally gotten some actual T-storms, first of the year. Like I've said, Florida weather has been pretty screwy for the past three years...COLD and DRY. Wet and warm has been a welcomed change.

It has been raining about everyday for the past week. These rain showers may last form 5 to 30 minutes. Great weather. No rain for yesterday (Saturday) so everybody loaded up 4 wheelers to go ride the trails. Went to Toptrails in Talladega. It has been so dry out, there was no mud to count for. All the rain soaked into the ground. All the small creeks were dry and the big creek was about 3rd full. And the trails were dusty up on the mountain. It is raining right now here. I just wonder if tonight when I go pick the garden if I will need to put my boots on.

It's getting dry here again. The rain showers are all around us. What we need is a good hurricane.
