I tried inverting the comb today when it comes off the hive. I rest the top of the comb on the bottom of the frame and the honey doesnt go all over the place. it just rest on there upside down. Ill see how it goes then. anyone else tried this? did 5 frames of brood like this. got an excluder under the deep to keep the big fat queen on lock down.

Inverting the comb 180 degrees use to be used for a swarm control measure, they would flip the whole box over, Michael Bush could tell you the whos and whens.
Schawee chewed me out for doing it by accident, he says the comb's got to be kept level, I do what I'm told.
Uncapped honey leaks out bad when the comb is inverted.

I accidentally did that once during a cutout on one piece of comb. The bees just abandoned it and never used it again for anything.
