G'day Folks,
Just wondering if anyone happens to have a photo of the front cover of the book "Honey Flora of Victoria" (1973) by Russell Goodman. Is it white with a red flowering gum coming down from the top right hand corner and the title in the lower half on the right hand side?

I hope it is the right one as I just purchased a copy in mint condition for $15AUD...
If anyone is interested in a copy for themselves I know where there is another one although it's not at that price...

Like this you mean? Wish I'd found a mint copy for that price! Mine's in good condition and I paid $20 for it. It would be nice if it was in colour too. Russell Goodman was supposed to talk at the bee club meeting last week but couldn't make it at the last minute. I took along two books that I was hoping to get signed. Oh well.

That's the one - Thanks Bernsad!
I also picked up "Eucalypts of Victoria and Tasmania" (2006) by Dean Nicolle as well yesterday... Hopefully those two books should go a long way to helping me gain knowledge in terms of id and resource worth...

Hi Oz,
I hadn't heard of the book by Dean Nicole but I've just looked it up and it looks very good. Did you grab a new one or second hand? If new, are they in a store somewhere I can take a look? I may have to chase that one up myself.

G'day Mate,
I've spoken to a few about that book and been told it is one of the best eucalypt identification books available at this time... I actually purchased mine brand new from a distributor on eBay - just plug the title in to eBay search

I did a bit more research and I've ordered a copy too. Always good to get an endorsement though, thanks.

Well I thought I had ordered it. I got an email from the company (I ordered it online) telling me their supplier was out of stock, I checked back on their website and they've jacked the price up (it was an exceptional price) and bugger me if it isn't available to order online again. This means war! Let you know how I go.

No I'm afraid not. They've given me a line about an old ad, out of stock, sorry, yadda, yadda, yadda...
