New here!

Hi,
I'm Chris I'm from Charlotte NC. I've been keeping bees with my father for several years now. We used to have 5 hives but 2 winters ago we lost 4. So last year we let our one grow big enough to split it 4 ways this year. We gave 2 away to a friend who wanted to get into keeping and kept the original and one of the others for ourselves. We also keep chickens, about 50-75 meat birds in the summer and 5 egg layers. I keep reptiles and arachnids. I enjoy a round of disc golf once or twice a week. I also play guitar. I have a 16 month old son named Zachary. The rest of my time is spent working. I look forward to learning all I can and sharing my experiences as well. If you have any questions feel free to ask!!

I'm actually at the base of Crowders Mtn, in Gaston County. Charlotte is just the closest major city, though Gastonia is my mailing address I'm outside city limits. And I definitely know where Monroe Rd is not sure about Stonehaven though.
Thanks for all the welcomes!!
