What do you all think of home repair extraordinaire Mike Holmes?  His original series was “Holmes on Homes” and now he’s got a new one called “Holmes Inspection”.  Both are now on HGTV.

I saw a rerun tonight where he went in to “fix” somebody’s $70K edition and ended up spending $120K to fix it.  I don’t think he can work on a house unless he can “gut it” and rip everything down to the studs.   

What do you think?  Can you afford to have him “fix” your house?  Would it just be cheaper to bulldoze your house to the ground and start over?
