The jerks have lost my queens.   Splits are now 3 days old.  Its friday afternoon so if they cant come up with them by closing today I'll have to wait until monday.

Happened to me last year as well, and they wonder why they are going belly up. I ordered some things from two different places last week on the same day. One shipped USPS-still waiting on it, the other UPS-got it 3 days later from further away than the USPS order.

I dont do splits until I have queens in hand simply for that reason. Too unreliable.

I could go on and on about UPS.  I have lots of problems with my driver.  He likes to leave packages on the uncovered porch with a covered porch less than 10 feet away.  There are so many other things as well.

How the !@#$ did they lose a whole box of queens. Now it will be digging through them again to remove any cells they have built. I feel for ya. There is a good lesson to be learned here. Just sad it has to be you buddy.

Whenever possible I use the post office or fedex.  I got tired of broken stuff.

I never do a split or remove a queen until I have the queens in hand... and even then I put the old queen in a nuc to have a backup.

OK this all turned out good.   As for never splitting until the queens are in hand is a norm but not this year.  The weather has sucked with one good day in 7.  The queens got accidentally shipped USP instead of UPS.  They were last scanned in HI and were lost.  The breeder shipped another 100 UPS out of CA yesterday and they arrived this morning. Just after lunch the 2nd 100 showed up USP.  I cant ship them back to HI (not legal)but will get them shipped back to CA on monday.  Anyone in MI that needs queens can most likey get a great deal in the next 24 hours Give me a call 231 690- 2937
