Ya'll may laugh, but I would hang out on that front porch any day with those guys.   That was a good video, picking and fishing.

But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

It got me wondering, do you have to register it with the state as a boat or house?

Well, if I had it, they would see it, or at least me on the front porch.   I know the DNR here checks the boat over all the time.   We get stopped all the time.  Fire extinguishers, PDFs, horn, coast guard max people, max HP, and max weight.  I think you would list it as a floating dock.   They were pushing it with another boat.   I still like the idea of it a lot.

Yep that looks like fun.  As far as getting checked, I guess I've been lucky.  I have had several boats, 1 that was registered and was never checked.  They would have really like to have once.  Was out on a creek with a 10ft aluminum boat trolling motor, not registered, with 3 people in it.  Did pretty good going down steam, kinda slow coming back upstream.
