will I started my trapout this morning. :)everything went great. now have to wait and let them do their thing. I plan on dealing with the stump hive later this week. it is far enough away from the house as not to bouther the owner unitl I can do a cut out. the whole stump is hollow to the roots so no stump hive style setup on this one. (old school ). hope I can get most of the pics on here.

Cool setup. It is amazing just how fast they start to pile up on the base on the cone.  Makes you realize just how many are out working at any given time.  Hope they both work out for you.

UPDATE:

Will I went by this afternoon. I opened a hole lower in the wall. The owner said that he had not seen any bees coming out in the pass couple days. So I filled the cavity with smoke to see if any were left. Nothing came out so I took the cone off and removed the brick that they coming out from around. It was a large swarm. no comb. The week I put it on we had a hard freeze. I foundd about a half pail full of dead bees. Darn. so I button up the hive and sealed everything. I got the hive home and set it up and then opened it. I found three frames of bees and 2 new queen cells with one starting to open.
I will leave them a loan for the next 2 weeks. Will I was up the ladder I got two more calls. one at a house with the bees in a interior wall. Oh what fun that will be. I have it setup for this comming week. then got another call bees in the bathroom wall of a old workshop.This one on the ground floor and they are remodeling. so demo not a problem. should be a fun one. I'l take photo's of both to post.

sorry I may not be there for Bud's but I will be keeping it in mind during my birthday removals.
