They don't get any better than this one folks. The bees were about as gentle as you'll ever run across but even more incredible was the fact that I didn't need to trim even one comb section! They fit perfectly in medium frames. Beautiful root beer colored queen too! ...JP

My very first removal was like that, and they still are. They spoiled me. They are also my best producers to date. I have split the hive several times, and they still outproduce. Although, the hive I rescued last month might just give them a run for their money this year.

Nice cut out! Makes it so nice to do one when they are gentle, you deserved some gentle bees after that monastery cut out the other day.
That queen was a beauty, she looked extra long to me, was she?

Those bees, that gorgeously long queen, your gentle removal, and that awesome music have relaxed me. I think I'll take a nap now.
-Liz
P.S. Your removals don't look all messy with honey. Why not? And when you get lots of honey, how do you keep the bees from drowning in it?

Liz, our hives have been pretty dry this season because of the mild winter. Except for a few older colonies most have eaten all of their stores! You gonna tell me about those removals you did? ...JP
