Hi everyone, my name is Jack Simpson and I'm a uni student currently studying science who is really interested in honeybees. I've got 6 beehives and am currently working in the lab learning how to dissect the glands of bees.
I just started my own website about beekeeping and bee research at bee blog .com.au which I hope other beekeepers might find useful.

I'd be interested in any more information your gather on the Blue Banded Bee (Amegilla cingulata). I have a lot of them around my place. Not long ago we had 2 of them building a nest from small leaves in a wind chime we have hanging outside but they didn't stay long though after we got some heave rain.
