I find it amazing that what business started giving as a "benefit" to compete for employees is now going to be mandated by the government.I still tell people,be careful what ya wish for.
As far as the percent of gdp spent on medical care,I'll bet some of the increase would corresponds with making more people eligible for medicaid.
And we also have some of the most technical equipment available. Being able to look in to the body without cutting it open costs money,but ultimately saves lives.
