Hi, I'm new. My name is Jeremy and I'm an alcoholic...oh wait wrong place. I have my tools, ordered my bees from a local lawn and garden store last month, they should be here soon. Building my hive this weekend. I have read Beekeeping for dummies to learn how to get started. I don't know why all of a sudden last spring while seeing an allergy medicine commercial on tv I decided I want to be a beekeeper. All of my other hobbies I join a forum and this looked like a good one.

Welcome to the forum. You can get a lot of info here, these people try to help,
just ask. You may also want to see if there is a local bee club near you. And you may want a bee suit also, some do and some don't. Depends on you and your bees,and how you react to stings. You will get em. But it is fun even if you do get stung. Good luck with your bees.
