My 10 frame deep burd box has 2 empty frames on both sides with new foundation. They have honey in 2 frames and brun in the others. Is it too early to put on a med. honey super? Should i wait till they drow cone on the other 4 frames in the brud box?

I'd put another deep on. You want 2 brood boxes. Once they start working the second, put on the honey super.

I'll second that motion... You should have 2 deeps to take care of brood and stores for overwintering. If you are useing all mediums then 3 mediums equalls 2 deeps. If they only have an empty frame on each end you need to get that 2nd deep on there

If you are in SW FL, you only need one deep brood box. For thee most part, they will only fill one. 2 mediums if you are using mediums. Another problem here in FL is small hive beetles (SHB). You are only at 60% fill. Is the box filled, wall to wall with bees. If not you might want to wait. The bees need to be able to keep removing SHB eggs and larva from all drawn frames. If you are just adding foundation, the beetle will not use it to lay their eggs and should not be a problem.

I agree with sawdstmakr. You only need one deep for brood. Also, move the outer drawn frames out one space and an empty in one space on each side. They will draw the empties out faster that way. Repeat in about a week, so that the drawn frames are against the outer walls. When the last two are beginning to draw, add your super.
