well just got done finishing 5 swarm traps here in st george ut wish me luck. I hope to grow the biz to 12 hives this year.

How did you decide where to put your swarm traps? Have you found any bee trees or are you hoping for swarms from neighboring hives? Swarm season hasn't started yet here in SW MT. I have 13 bait boxes up and I have them all near 8 bee trees I have found.

Good luck with the trapping. Make sure you leave a couple of empty boxes with an old comb in your apiary.
I've caught more swarms in old junk stacked for burning
