noticed more bees then normal. lot of capped drone brood! i am afraid in a few weeks when they all hatch those hives will be boiling over with bees! you think it would be a good idea to place a honey super on them to prevent them from swarming?

I don't know what your weather has been like compared to ours, here in Maryland but things are starting to open up with blooms and during inspections the past two days the frames are being loaded. If yours is like that I would put them on or you will be missing a golden opportunity.
