Looks like an image shack issue. Usually if you wait a day or so they get fixed. Or just use another hosting service.

Rob, It is only the link from the forum to imageshack it seems. I went directly to their site and was able to post and link ok.I got the same message when trying to link photos from within the post composition area.

Appears to be the API changed for ImageShack and the SMF plug-ins (both that I tried) have not been updated yet. I'll disable it until a working version is available.

What did you bribe the swarm with to get them to land in the tree?...mine just lands in the briars. Yelp, photobucket is easy to use...and no pop-ups. Ed

If people do use the other options they need to keep the photos in a public domain and not an account that they go through and don't want photos in their albums anymore. This makes the photos disappear from the website when they clean out or reorganize/rename photos.

Excellent point, Ken. Delete the file, close the account, change the file name, etc., and POOF!!!...there's that ugly "file not found" notice!!!

According to the photos tutorial on this site, photobucket should show up below my post as I am posting or replying. It isn't there on my screen. What am I missing? It is probabaly right before my eyes somewhere else but I can't find it!
