Hi!  I work at Stone Mountain Park in the education dept., and we are installing our first hives this spring.  We planted a 1 1/2 acre wildflower meadow in a part of the park not open to the public, and will be raising bees for pollination and education.  I just attended the Metro Atlanta Beekeepers Short Course this weekend, and it was great!  Can't wait to learn from all of you, too.

Welcome, from Hampton. As vp of the Henry County Beekeeping Association I would like to extend an open invitation to come visit us. We have a great club and have a beginners workshop coming up you are more than welcome to attend. Our regular meetings are the second Tuesday each month at 7pm at the public meeting room of the county office building on Zack Hinton Pkwy.

welcome from the middle Ga area. I'm in Jones county. with the warm winter so far we may be starting earlier than last year. I'm already prepping for mid Feb splitting.
