Abuse of priviledge?
« on: December 19, 2011, 09:14:20 PM »
What do ya'll think about the Obama's going on an 17 day Hawian vacation that is going to cost us the working people of the U.S. over four million tax payer dollars. Ain't like they haven't had a vacation lately. Seems like only a day or two ago they went to Martha's Vinyard for a nine day stay. And this time like that trip Mrs. O is taking her own tax funded plane, didn't want to wait on Barry.
Our economy must be booming to afford all that.

it's a little like castro ordering expensive hams from spain while the cubans can't keep thier rice cookers going.  :-D  might not be an abuse of power, but it certainly isn't good optics.
.....The greatest changes occur in their country without their cooperation. They are not even aware of precisely what has taken place. They suspect it; they have heard of the event by chance. More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....

I don't see any problem with Obama going on vacation, the sad part though... he keeps coming back to work!

But don't you think going hand fishing in an alligator swamp would be a better idea for a vacation than Hi.??

just as bush when to Crawford, obama should go home to Chicago.  winters in Il are not that bad.....

That's not nice, iddee, you should be hospitable to the spender in chief...invite him handline fishing but don't forget your gloves...he's is pretty healthy and could probably pull pretty hard...don't won't you getting line cuts on your hands...

Well, you could troll that way but I think still/tight-line fishing would be more entertaining...

he keeps coming back to work!

are you sure about that ?

seems like he's just been traveling between vacations ever since he got into the white house.

Don't be to hard on him riding around in those Canadian made communist colored buses and reading untruths from a teleprompter has got to be tiring.
