This old movie recently came out on dvd and has some scenes of an old lady using bees for her arthritis.  I could only find a very short excerpt on the internet - it's a pity there are no scenes of Smiley being given the bees - but it's funny anyhow.

Nice. I watched the movie again.

I especially like the keep working the bees in an open neck - short sleeved shirt. No gloves. No veil. No stings. No worries.

But he did leave the lid off the hive!
