Academic's and Their Methaphorical Love of the Colony Structure

They just cannot discuss bees without swooning about the benefits of socialized living.  I work across from an Occupy protest and I can attest that bees keep their areas clean, the workers actually work (although the drones feel right about equal), and they don't rely on neighboring businesses for food/bathroom privileges/coffee.
