no, i never tried to eat leaves. i however did try the butter and i must say that it's absoulutely hidious. i ONLY tried it.

have a better idea, feed them wine syrup, that way, alcohol will get into bees bloodstream, varroa will suck that blood and assuming varroa get's affected the same way we do, it'll fell right off  oh wait..no not the wine, use some cheap vodka or something!
