But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....

You sure?  I mean, just looking at him I thought JP was a little older than you...probably in his early 70's which would've put you down around the early 60 mark...I didn't know there was that big of difference in ya'll's ages...50 to 70, that's a 20-year spread!!!  I guess that might explain why JP has such a hard time finding those queens, eh??!!!   evil

Oh, Happy Birthday!!!!  Wink

Annette, I think you read JP's original message wrong.  He mistakenly said 63....not 36, like you are.  Smiley

Trying to get on Schawee's good side huh?  grin You know he can't find a queen without his eagle eye glasses on. Look, here's proof

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

If he squinted anymore than this his eyes would likely pop out the back of his skull!  grin

And he's much older than me. A whole bunch more!  Wink
