Saying Hi from Iowa

Just joined this site, haven't even had time to look around yet. A little backround is in order I suppose. My cousin and I have just finished our first season of beekeeping and really enjoy it. We started with 4 packages and now thanks to a couple of swarms (1 ours and 1 somebody elses) we are at 6 hives. I will keep this short by saying we are really having fun with this new hobby despite it taking more money, time and work than we figured. Good luck to all and thanks, Dave.

Welcome Dave!
As long as you enjoy keeping bees, the money spent will be worth it.

Welcome Dave, & cousin.
What part of Iowa?
Are you a member of a club?, they can be great help.
About what age range?
Are you planning on becoming the next big commercial beek in Iowa?
Do you have a mentor?
Again welcome, we need more beeks here in Iowa to get back to where we were.
Goodluck
