Just started using Google+. I think there is a few kinks they need to work out to make it intuitive and easy to navigate. I have seen improvements over the past few weeks. The great thing about G+ is that they are incorporating other Google services and their search engine into this social media platform!

I have been G+ since just about the very beginning. I was an early beta tester and was pretty much blown away from the start. I had a lot of issues with how Facebook worked and the lack of privacy options. Facebook keeps getting worse and now I use just G+.
I am going to use the #Beekeeper tag to start a beekeeping circle. It's always fun to start a new circle of friends.

I signed up a little while ago, but am still trying to figure out all its features. Where do I put this #beekeeper tag?

@Fireguy I added you to my beekeper circle. I have not had much luck finding anyone else. I tried the #beekeeper tag but there must not be many using it. The privacy features I love so much may also prevent us from finding each other. I won't be able to find your beekeeping posts unless you make them public unless I am already in one of your circles.
For anyone who would like to add me you can find me here: (Well this is sad. I am too new here to post a link. Maybe if Fireguy circles me you can find me through him.)
I would really like beemaster to start a G+ page for those of us who don't use facebook.

I figured out the #beekeeper tag! It works just like with Twitter.
When you write a post about beekeeping, just add #beekeeper to the end of the post.
When you want to search for beekeeping, go to the top of your home page and enter #beekeeping into the search box. Posts about beekeeping will be shown on your screen.
I originally thought that I could add the #beekeeping tag to my profile, but it doesn't look like Google+ works that way.
