Apiarist Meetings Melbourne
«

Hello,
I'm due to be in Melbourne from the 23rd to the 28th of November, and I was wondering if there are any apiarist meetings that I could attend in this period, preferably the north westish side of town.
I remember a long time ago when I lived there I nearly went along to a meeting after seeing a bee display somewhere, but I felt a bit fraudulent as I didn't have bees of my own till about 15 years after that.

Jump on the web, theres one near Diggers Rest, another near Kew and another in Doncaster. The Geelong group is very friendly(John Edmonds). The Geelong one is easy with the main road from Melbourne to Geelong. they do a cheap meal before the meeting at a local Chinese retsruarant where you get to meet a couple of dozen friendly folk. All on the web, emails are an easy way to get a feel for them.

Thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately I missed out because I had to catch up with an old mate when the Kew meeting was on.
I did get lost and almost end up in Geelong by accident though.
