Good Package or NUC Suppiers for Spring

Already scheming about my expansion in the spring.  Anyone recommend a good package or Nuc supplier for someone in the West Virginia/Maryland area?  I ordered my package for a supplier in Georgia this past year.  I had a good experience but know several people that had nightmares with this supplier.  I was thinking about ordering from Brushymountain, but its about a 4 hour drive to their New Colombia PA location and they don't ship.  Would like to get some bees from my region of the US instead of from the South or Cali.

What breeds do you all have the most luck with?  I've only ever used Italians.  I was thinking about maybe trying a couple colonies of Carni/Italian hybrids if I can find them.  As always, thanks for your advise!
