hi folks - today is july 13 - is it too late to order new queens? where could I get carniolans?  thanks

You can order queens into September.  They are cheaper and easier to find this time of year than in the spring.

Good luck with the Carniolians, I tried to find a queen for one of my Carniolian hives about a week ago and everyone supplying carniolians were sold out! I eventually had to re-queen with a three banded Itailian queen from Wilbanks. I will re-queen again in the spring with a Carniolian from Strachan. If you find one, let me know where you found it! Cheesy

you could try kona queens in hawaii.  i just ordered a batch from them.
