I removed this hive for code enforcement. Checked them out four days before Tropical storm Lee, was ready to perform the removal but they had to wait for approval and a purchase order. When I first arrived there was a huge crane sitting on the foundation right smack in the middle of the house, likely where the living room use to be and approximately 20% of the house left standing. You see, this house was being demolished but obviously they could not proceed forward after discovering the bees. I had my doubts the bees would survive all the rain we had but they managed quite well. Here's part one. Part two takes place in the bee yard and that video will be coming soon. ...JP

What a nice surprise for me to find this morning! I watched you work while I enjoyed my morning coffee. And now I'm eager to see the beeyard follow up. You know I LOVE all your video's, right, JP? But when you run out of removals to film this season, I'd really appreciate learning from you as you work in your beeyards.
By the way...maybe it's because I haven't seen you in a while, but it seems to me that your face is getting lean.

Great job JP and I liked that little interval where you posted the still photos set against music. But what a mess this one was, but great that you could just throw the bricks around like that.
I have to tell you that I appreciate your videos more and more. Just did an inspection of 2 hives that were abandoned and my friend Joanne and I spent 2 hours trying to fix the mess of crazy comb, wax moths damage and bad, broken down equipment.
After we were done, we both spoke about you and how easy you always make this look, although we found it to be exhausting work.
Thanks JP for always sharing and I also have to say that you look very lean.
Annette

Part two is coming, I have most of the footage done. I'm going back in tomorrow morning to give them more feed and add a medium nuc to the set up.
I'm getting around a whole lot better now and on a mission to get in as good a shape as I can. Its just too hard on my back keeping long hours working off ladders most of the time. I figure losing weight can only help.
Thanks for the feedback folks.
See you soon!

Liz, Schawee is just jealous because I'm finally going to get thinner. All he talks about is how much weight he lost. I can't wait to rub it in. ...JP
