Greetings from down under.

Hi all
I've just joined this forum and thought I'd drop a line and say hi.
I live on a small farm just outside of the nation capital Canberra. I've just got into beekeeping in the last 12 months when a mate asked me if he could keep some bees on my property, well one thing leads to another and I now have my own hive and I'm about to set up another.
I've still got a lot to learn but it certainly is a fun pastime with some tasty rewards at the end.
I am also into permaculture so I am keen to also set up a top bar hive and see the differences between that and the "Lang".
My other great hobby is amateur astronomy and astrophotography, so my days and nights are quite full as you could imagine.
Hope to chat with you all at some point in time.
Cheers
