Parakeets anyone?

My sons recently got two parakeets to replace their two guinea pigs that gave up the ghost and quite honestly, I think they are pretty cool (the keets, not the deag pigs) So....I have this bad habit of going overboard in my hobbies and now am contemplating on building an outside aviary to go along with the apiary. Anyone else on here have one?

Ive been there and done that. When my wife and I first got married I got into the bird thing pretty bad. A one bedroom apartment, we had two parakeets, two cockateils, two yellow canarys, 4 zebra finches, and two lady goludian finches. One of the cockateil was blind so when I let them out to play the other one would stay with the blind one so she did not fall off the couch. I think birds are fun but would be even better outside in an aviary.
