Notice when he cut the comb, he cut along an old cut line, taking just the new comb. Also remember in Asia, they eat the brood also along with the honey.

I was wondering why he wanted a comb that looked mostly full of brood. I guess they eat that raw?

These are Giant honey bees witch are about 3/4" to 7/8" long
