A Film Unfinished is a documentary/interview that is done over the  propaganda films made in the Warsaw ghetto 1942 just a few months before the "relocations" to the death camps started.  the films themselves have no sound or narration, but one of the people who did some of the filming is interviews along with some who were captives of the ghetto.  it's pretty interesting and educational.  lots of bad things have happened in history, but never have the perpetrators been so kind as to document all of it for us.

found it on netflix.
.....The greatest changes occur in their country without their cooperation. They are not even aware of precisely what has taken place. They suspect it; they have heard of the event by chance. More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called the government. They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....
