Greetings from Saint Joseph, MO (just north of Kansas City).  I am in the earliest stages of becoming a bee guardian.  My husband and I are building a top bar beehive and I'm eager to learn about natural beekeeping methods.  I became interested in beekeeping while taking a permaculture course but I've always been a lover of bees. 

I plan on spending the fall and winter seasons learning as much as possible and then search for my first hive next spring. I am most grateful to have a forum to share experiences and knowledge.  I look forward to interacting with members and learning.
