We all stood there looking at each other not really sure of what we just had done
. Dad spoke up and said "See I told you it worked".

Great video Schawee. I've heard other people talk about banging on a pot or kettle and they said the bees will land close. Why do you think that could work? What I mean to ask is, how does that affect the bees, to make them want to land?
Very Cool

leechmann, from what i read and what other people tried to find out is that no one no what make them land, but they do.they have peolpe that say it doesn't work and its a myth.well i saw it work at but2 when iddee did it and it worked for me.i had to do it with that same hive again when i let the queen out of the queen catcher.that evening they swarmed and would not land after 10 min. so i got my bucket and started to beat on it and they landed in just a short time .myth or not i saw it work, ......schawee

Well done Schawee. Thought you may have had a yellow bucket in the gear by now but Wally has probably got rights on the color but I think you beat a better rhythm than he does.
